Video/Audio synchronization.

Postby F1Admin » Wed Aug 10, 2016 9:34 am

Hi guys!!
Here's a thing. We have some races from the '90s broadcasted by a Spanish channel. The video quality is really good, much better than the originals we have uploaded here. I wonder is someone knows how to add and synchronize the English original audio from the original race to this version of the race. In this way, we would have an English version of the race with the original comments and an amazing video quality.
We are not professionals in this matter.
If someone knows how to do this and is willing to help please reply this post. This would be a great adding to the collection.
Thank you very much in advance ;)

I could do this.
If both Spanish & English files are both full live races (without commercial breaks) then it should be pretty simple.
If either one has a break in it then it becomes a bit harder.
If you have the files i could try.

You are the man!!!
The files don't include breaks as far as I know. I'll upload the files to MEGA and I'll send you the links ok? :)

We still need someone with knowledge in editing video and audio for those 1992 races. Please can someone do that with them? I would be really great having them with that video quality and the original English comments!! Come on guys!! ;) ;)

If they have no breaks, you can make an .mkv with one audio track being English and the other being the other language. I can try doing that if you still need someone.

I tried this but there are some type of breaks in the good video and my English audio.. just real difficult.
You would have to watch both, find where the breaks are (hardly than it sounds) then try and merge them back together.
I've done it before when the races are 100% live versions, but there are sneaky breaks in the older races.

I'm sure admin is game enough to let you try, i can supply the English version [for audio] if you too.

Thing is that I'm not really a professional in these matters. I tried the basics but it didn't work. That's why I'm asking for someone to volunteer, anyone's up? :) :)
